Do What You Want Weekends

Do What You Want Weekends After years in the Midwest and a stint on the East coast, I finally headed west to fulfill a life-long dream of living in California. It has been everything I could have imagined and more. From the majestic views of Yosemite to the hikes I can do in the Redwood park in my town, there is an abundance of fun, mostly free activities waiting to be tackled. I started this blog as a way to show others that it's easy to do great weekend activities that don't break the bank or require a lot of planning. We often wake up on a Saturday and decide what we'll do that weekend - and it takes minimal effort. Like a good number of people, I sit behind a desk all week and just want to get out in the sun and play on the weekends. I hope that someone out there finds this information helpful and motivating to try something new and explore the beautiful things around us.
