Laure's Garden

LauresGarden With many years of experience in the nursery, landscape and gardening businesses, I'm finally finding a way to share my horticultural knowledge to help other gardeners succeed. My blog will have information that's for Zone 9, and will mainly be about growing your own food plants and flowers from seed. I'll also delve into some horticultural topics related to the home gardener. For out-of-garden experiences, I'll be profiling independent local nurseries in Northern California so you can plan enjoyable day trips that will take you to places in our state you may not have been to before. My background is in plant science, environmental horticulture and landscape design, with extensive experience in growing plants--my favorite activity.
