Welcome to Miscellanea

Welcome to Miscellanea Welcome to Miscellanea, land of unfailing PMA. You may find yourself wondering, what is a PMA? Well, it's really quite simple: Positive Mental Attitude. This is my mantra. I love trying to find beauty in unexpected places: The glint of light reflecting from a spider web after a rainy day, the amazing architecture found in 100 year old cemeteries, a tasty meal made from scratch, or the thrill of discovering a vintage rarity found purely by accident in the most unrefined of thrift shops. So, where does style fit into this mantra? Well, that's pretty simple, too. Because to me, style is less about trends and more about attitude. This site features all of the things that I'm passionate about at any given moment, from food to fashion to nature and anything else that gives good PMA.

Don’t just stand there. Do something.

When you see something happening that shouldn't be, do you just stand there, or do you DO something?I've been thinking a lot about the culture of "not my problem" that we're living in. We all love to pretend as if we're making a difference by posting s...
