Governor Jerry Brown signed a package of legislation that were 4 decades in the making that would regulate the pumping of groundwater in California for the first time. California has been one of few states that did not have a groundwater management plan.

WEED- The Holy Family Church, serving the community of Weed since 1967, was destroyed by the Boles Fire. Now, church representatives are seeking donations to benefit the fire-ravaged community.
