This corner of Park and West Acre was an eyesore for many years, but someone recently purchased the duplex, fixed up the homes and re-landscaped the yard. Congratulations to the owners...much more appealing!

The folks living in the old Elkhorn Village area of West Sacramento are thrilled about the repairs on the gutters, sidewalks and curbs. Hopefully the streets will also be scheduled for repaving soon..riding a bicycle is a pretty dangerous undertaking...

Silly Dilly The Clown was back at the River Walk during the Harmony on the River concerts this year, weaving her wearable balloon magic for both big kids and little kids.

Wicked West Pizza & BBQ is hosting a Job Fair on September 11, 2010 from 1 to 4 PM at their new facility in the Jefferson Plaza Retail Center. Be sure and share the info with those that are looking for employment!

They heard a noise...a rustling and scratching sound during the night...hearing it again the next night they had the camera ready...a baby possum was visiting their backyard.

The beautiful Egret is engraved in the cement on the main walkway at the Riverwalk Park.

If you sit in the bar at Vince's, you can order the hand-made pizzas, baked in the wood fire oven. The pizzas are not listed on the menu, but are a special treat for those who know to order them!

According to a City of Sacramento Press Release dated July 2010, nearly 1,700 people responded to the Sacramento River Crossing Alternatives Study. Of those responding, 1,035 said they live in Sacramento, while 409 identified themselves as West Sacram...
