Writing Workshop: Germinating Ideas for Your Blog, Wed. Jan. 25
Sacramento Bee reporter Debbie Arrington, who has covered everything from food to gardening to sports (including NASCAR), will be giving a workshop at The Bee on Wednesday, January 25 from 5:30-7:00 p.m. Using her many years of experience as a writer, she’ll share tips on how to find ideas and inspiration for your blog. The event is free and open to the public. Please register to attend.
Sacramento Press Journalism Contest Now Open
Sacramento Press is holding its annual community journalism contest. The first-place winner will receive $600. Isaac Gonzales of RanSACkedmedia won last year with his article about Sacramento’s bridges. Deadline for submission is January 31. Link here for more information.
