On April 10, 2009 five American soldiers were killed by a suicide bomber in Mosul, Iraq. SFC Bryan E. Hall, of Elk Grove, was one of those soldiers. This walk is to honor him, the other four men killed in the incident, and all American Soldiers who are serving our country and those who have served in the past. All proceeds from the walk will be split between the Bryan E. Hall Memorial Scholarship and an education fund established for SFC Hall’s four-year old daughter, Addison.
